Swara Bhasker is facing a series of troubling issues with her X (formerly Twitter) account, which has been temporarily suspended and allegedly hacked. The actor shared an update on Instagram, revealing that her X account was locked following a copyright infringement charge, but things took a more serious turn when she discovered her account had been hacked.

On Instagram, Swara posted a series of notes detailing the situation. She explained that on January 30, she was locked out of her X account due to a copyright violation. However, when she tried to regain access, she was informed that the two-factor authentication had been turned off. The next day, she received an email notifying her that someone had used her account to send a delegation invite, allowing the hacker to potentially send direct messages, create lists, and post from her account. Swara emphasized that she had not sent such an invitation, and despite her blue checkmark verification still being visible on X, she no longer has control over the account, which she believes has been hacked.

Swara also addressed the suspension of her account, which she claims was triggered by two tweets she posted around Republic Day. One tweet included a photo of her daughter with Republic Day wishes, while the other featured the slogan, “Gandhi Hum Sharmindaa hain, Tere qaatil zinda hain,” a famous line from the progressive movement in India. Swara wrote on Instagram that these tweets were flagged as copyright infringements, resulting in the suspension of her account. She argued that the reports against her posts were likely part of a coordinated effort to harass her and suppress her freedom of speech.

In her post, Swara criticized X for permanently suspending her account based on these reports, adding, “If these tweets have been mass reported, they are aimed to harass the user, i.e., myself.”

The actor, last seen in the 2022 film Mimamsa, will soon appear in Mrs. Falani. It seems like her online struggles are far from over, as she continues to deal with the fallout from the hacking and suspension of her account.
