Acclaimed director Vikram Bhatt has surprised his fans with the news of his new horror film, Haunted 3D: Ghosts of The Past. Releasing in theaters on September 26, 2025, the movie features Mahaakshay Chakraborty and Chetna Pandey in key roles. The news went viral within minutes on social media, causing ripples of excitement among horror movie lovers.
Vikram Bhatt posted the first look poster on Instagram, which shows a haunted bungalow with a single woman standing in front of it. A creepy female voice in the background creates an eerie atmosphere. In the caption, Vikram had penned, “After the amazing reaction to 1920: Horrors of The Heart, I knew we needed to come back with something even scarier.” The movie is helmed by Vikram Bhatt, produced by Mahesh Bhatt and Anand Pandit, and produced by Anand Pandit, Rakesh Juneja, and Shwetambari Bhatt.

Vikram Bhatt, the last time he directed Tumko Meri Kasam with Anupam Kher, Esha Deol, Adah Sharma, and Ishwak Singh, recently shared about his personal battles. In an interview with Pinkvilla, he mentioned that he has Axial Spondyloarthritis, which is a debilitating autoimmune disease of the spine. He also opened up about fighting depression and gave credit to his wife Shweta for her constant support.
Bhatt recently also defended star kids Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor amid online trolling, praising their performances in Karan Johar’s debut project Nadaaniyan, which has received mixed reviews.
