Hollywood legend Tom Cruise has shown tears of gratitude after the blockbuster box office performance of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning during Memorial Day weekend. The movie, Cruise’s last adventure as Ethan Hunt, debuted to glowing reviews and sold-out theaters across the world.
Taking to social media, Cruise posted an expression of gratitude that resonated with fans across the world. “This weekend was one for the history books! Congratulations and thank you to all the filmmakers, all the artists, all the crew members, and everyone who works at the studios… To all the theatres and all the employees who help bring these stories to the public, thank you,” he said. Cruise also thanked Paramount Pictures and Skydance for their long-standing association and support.
Directed by Christopher McQuarrie and written with Erik Jendresen, the movie reunites Cruise with a talented ensemble cast that includes Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Henry Czerny, and Angela Bassett. The movie has been lauded not only for its action, but also for its emotional resonance as a moving goodbye to an unforgettable character.
A Special Message for Indian Fans
Before release, Cruise also left a surprise message to his Indian fans in Hindi. “Main aap sab se bahut pyaar karta hoon.
