Beyoncé Knowles-Carter illuminated Atlanta on Sunday, July 13, with an unforgettable moment during the third night of her Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour. Playing at the sold-out Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the international superstar surprised fans when she brought on none other than her husband, Jay-Z, for an unforgettable guest turn.
This was Jay-Z’s first public appearance on the U.S. tour leg, after a cameo appearance on Beyoncé’s concert in Paris in June. With the crowd going wild, Beyoncé proudly introduced her husband with the words, “Give it up for my man Jay-Z.” The couple went on to mesmerize fans with a live performance of their 2003 hit Crazy in Love, which immediately made the concert one for the books.
Jay-Z did not stop there. He went on to thrill the crowd with a stellar rendition of his 2003 hit Public Service Announcement, provoking thunderous applause from the crowd. His surprise entrance lent an added buzz to already charged performance.
A Night Full of Nostalgia and Hits
Jay-Z had previously performed with Beyoncé on June 22 at the Stade de France in Paris, singing Public Service Announcement, Crazy in Love, and the crowd-pleaser N**gas in Paris. Atlanta fans now got to experience the same magic and a little more.
