Prabhas’s Lord Shiva look leaked from the sets of Vishnu Manchu’s ‘Kannappa’; Team releases an urgent and heartfelt appeal

Headlined by Vishnu, Kannappa is described as a magnum opus that brings together stars from across India. News of Prabhas joining the set comes nearly a month after Bollywood star Akshay Kumar joined for a Hyderabad schedule.

Apart from Prabhas and Akshay, Kannappa also features cameo appearances by Mohanlal and Nayanthara. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, this action film is based on a true story and stars Vishnu as Bhakta Kannappa, a once-atheistic, fearless warrior who becomes a devoted follower of Lord Shiva. A legendary figure in Telugu folklore, Kannappa famously offered his own eye to the deity.

A previously released look from the film showcased Vishnu as a bow-and-arrow-wielding figure emerging from a waterfall. Kannappa also stars Mohan Babu, Sarath Kumar, Brahmanandam, Preity Mukhundhan, Madhoo, and Mukesh Rishi.
