During a recent appearance on Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s podcast, BhartiTV, actor Abhishek Kumar openly discussed his former relationship with actress Isha Malviya. Asked whether he had moved on from his past, Abhishek merely nodded and said “Ji,” showing that he is no longer emotionally attached to Isha.
But when Bharti asked him if he would ever think of reuniting with Isha if she came back, Abhishek smiled but replied strongly. “We can never be together. I know what she is like and what kind of person I am. We are two different people. It will never match ever.” He also spoke about the age difference while they were in a relationship, stating, “I was not young. I was 24. She was a child.”
From Romance to Reality Drama
For the uninitiated, Abhishek and Isha met on the sets of Udaariyaan and eventually started dating. Their relationship didn’t end well, though. Things turned dramatic when both appeared on Bigg Boss 17. During the show, Isha’s secret romance with fellow contestant Samarth Jurel was revealed, who came to the house as a wild card and identified himself as Isha’s boyfriend at the moment. The surprise left Abhishek visibly devastated.

Post-Bigg Boss Dynamics and New Friendships
Isha and Samarth also called it quits after the show ended in April 2024. Samarth confirmed the same in an interview with Pinkvilla, stating, “Yes, we are not together anymore. Break up hogaya hai. I don’t want to talk more about this.”
Surprisingly, considering their messy history, Abhishek Kumar and Samarth Jurel have now developed a firm friendship. The pair can currently be witnessed acting together in the same line in Laughter Chefs Season 2, astonishing their fans by getting along well with each other.
