During the episode aired on October 10, Sadavarte caused a major uproar when he refused to follow a directive from Bigg Boss, claiming that both the Indian government and notorious gangster Dawood Ibrahim are afraid of him.
The incident began when Chaahat Pandey, a television actress and contestant on the show, was previously tasked with convincing two housemates to go to jail inside the house to avoid being jailed herself. She successfully persuaded BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga and social media personality Hema Sharma (known as Viral Aunty) to take her place in jail. Over the next few days, both Bagga and Hema regretted their decision, and Chaahat was visibly emotional, blaming herself for their situation.
In the October 10 episode, Bigg Boss gave the housemates a chance to free Bagga and Hema by sending Chaahat and another contestant to jail. Sadavarte expressed his anger and refused to go to jail, making a bold declaration: “It’s about my image. I will not go to jail. Sarkaar mujhse darti hai, Dawood Ibrahim mujhse darta hai. Main jail nahi jaaunga” (The government is afraid of me, Dawood Ibrahim is scared of me, I will not go to jail). His refusal and combative attitude shocked the housemates and the viewers alike.
