Karan Veer Mehra, the winner of Bigg Boss 18, recently spoke about his strained relationship with Vivian Dsena, who finished as the first runner-up. Once friends, the two turned into frenemies during the reality show, and their differences seem to have continued post-Bigg Boss.
In a candid interview with Siddharth Kannan, Karan addressed whether he believes Vivian is arrogant about his professional success. “Vivian ko waise hi ghamand hai. Pata nahi kis cheez ka, par wo hai. He has an air about himself, which is just part of who he is. Even if he wasn’t in this profession, he would still be like this,” Karan remarked.

When asked if he thought Vivian felt superior in terms of career success, Karan admitted that he felt jealous of Vivian’s journey. “I was coming from a jealous space. I told him, ‘Tujhe kaafi kuchh easily mil gaya. You’re the favorite, you got things easily. Our personal lives had ups and downs, but you are in a better space.’”
Karan also revealed that he had expected Vivian to reassure him, saying, “I thought he would say, ‘Nahi yaar, tune bhi toh bohot kuchh kiya hai.’ (You have done a lot too). We could have played together.” However, their rift widened when Vivian befriended Avinash Mishra, with whom Karan had a dispute.
One of the turning points, Karan claimed, was Vivian’s behavior towards a fellow contestant. “Calling out a girl for her toilet habits was immature and childish. That distanced me from him further.”
Addressing Vivian’s Bigg Boss 18 after-party, Karan confirmed that he was not invited, saying, “Unko FOMO hua hai ki main nahi aaya. (He has FOMO that I didn’t come).” He also brushed off Vivian unfollowing him on Instagram, stating that social media actions don’t bother him.
As for Vivian’s wife, Nouran Aly, Karan shared that he had no opinion about her since they only met once. Instead, he is focusing on his career and moving forward.
