The horrific terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, has shocked the nation, with Bollywood stars also joining the masses in grieving. On April 22, 2025, militants affiliated with The Resistance Front (TRF) fired at a group of Hindu tourists at Baisaran meadow in Anantnag district, killing a minimum of 28 and wounding more than 20. The horrific attack has caused outrage and demands for justice all over the country.
Alia Bhatt’s Emotional Tribute
Showing utter grief, Alia Bhatt went to Instagram Stories and posted,”The news from Pahalgam is heartbreaking. Innocent lives lost… seeking peace. And now there’s only grief. Every time something like this happens, it chips away at our shared humanity. May those souls rest in peace.”
Outpouring of Condolences from Film Fraternity
Various celebrities followed Alia’s lead. Anushka Sharma tweeted, “Heartbroken to hear about the cold-blooded terror attack. prayers and condolences to their families.” Akshay Kumar, Farhan Akhtar, and Ram Charan also posted their outrage, with Ram Charan tweeting, “Such incidents have no place in our society and should be strongly condemned.” Rashmika Mandanna posted a screenshot of the news and wrote, “It breaks my heart.” Kareena Kapoor and actor Adil Hussain also responded, with Adil expressing his own connection to the site, saying, “Could have been us.”
