Krrish 4, a very much expected film of Bollywood, has been just given an amazing update. Rakesh Roshan, the maker, recently disclosed that the industry icon Rekha will feature in the next-generation sci-fi superhero film, Hrithik Roshan to star.
Rekha’s Back with the Krrish series
The Roshans commemorated the success of their Netflix documentary The Roshans on February 16, 2025. The celebration had some of Bollywood’s biggest stars present, such as Rakesh Roshan and Rekha. While taking pictures with the paparazzi, a photojournalist asked Rakesh if Rekha was going to be featured in Krrish 4, to which he eagerly replied, “Hai hai, sab hai”. This affirmation has fueled the anticipation of fans who look forward to her comeback.

A video that went viral at the event has Hrithik Roshan holding Rekha’s hand as they stood together. The veteran actress shared a nice moment with Hrithik, further generating buzz for the film.
Rakesh Roshan on Krrish 4’s Progress
In a previous interview with Bollywood Hungama, Rakesh Roshan confirmed that he most probably would not be directing any upcoming films but promised fans that Krrish 4 would be announced soon. He further stated in a 2023 interview with Pinkvilla that the script of the film is prepared but still in the process of being fine-tuned.
Realizing the budget constraints relative to Hollywood, Roshan stressed that good storytelling is crucial. He feels that if a movie has a good story, then nothing else matters, and he is sure that Krrish 4 will hook viewers from the beginning.
Hrithik Roshan’s Upcoming Projects
Besides Krrish 4, Hrithik Roshan will be seen in War 2, the next part of YRF’s spy franchise. Actor Ashutosh Rana recently confirmed that he will be seen reprising his role as Colonel Sunil Luthra in the movie. He will also be seen in Alpha, which features Alia Bhatt and Sharvari.
