Rasha Thadani’s epic response to being compared to Suhana Khan, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor

Actress Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha Thadani is readying to debut into the Bollywood with ‘Aazad’; and before this, even for her debut she has become so much a name that with ‘Uyi Amma’ dance in the song people are going crazier about it. Read more here to know how Rasha’s entry into the world of acting has been doing so far:

Rasha has been compared to her peers, including Suhana Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Khushi Kapoor. She was also compared with Katrina Kaif for her dancing skills. In an interview with Filmy Gyaan, Rasha humbly spoke about those comparisons. She said: It is wrong to compare at this time because my film hasn’t been released yet. I am starting my career with these actors, and I want to learn a lot from their success rather than compare myself with them.”

Rasha’s dance in Uyi Amma’ has been said to be as good as Katrina Kaif’s in ‘Chikni Chameli’. Fans have been appreciating her for her effort and hard work: One fan said: “Rasha really dances very well; she has worked very hard.” Another user added: “Rasha performs much better than star kids.” A third user confidently commented: “Rasha will soon become a big Bollywood star; her hard work is clearly visible in this song.”

While many are lauding her dance skills, some reactions have been mixed, with critics pointing out areas for improvement, which is common for debutantes in Bollywood.

Rasha’s rise is being paralleled with other industry newcomers:
Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor, who made their debut with Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’, got mixed reviews for their performances. Suhana Khan is all set to star alongside her father, Shah Rukh Khan, in Siddharth Anand’s ‘King.’ Khushi Kapoor is working on her next project, ‘Loveyapa,’ with Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan.

Rasha’s debut in ‘Aazad is highly in anticipation, and her graceful acknowledgement of the challenges and opportunities to be faced before her reflects that she is now ready to go ahead and pave her own ways in the industry. With a powerful legacy from mother Raveena Tandon, and her very early efforts in winning the hearts with performance in ‘Uyi Amma,’ Rasha appears poised to mark a significant way in Bollywood.
