In a recent episode of Bigg Boss OTT 3, contestant Naezy had a candid conversation with fellow contestant Ranvir Shorey about his ex-wife, actress Konkona Sen Sharma. The discussion took place in episode 26, where they also touched upon the topic of divorces among artists in the Hindi film industry and Ranvir shared his thoughts on feminism.
While they were working in the kitchen, Naezy remarked on the similarity between Ranvir and Konkona, saying, “Aapke aur aapke ex-wife ka zone bilkul similar hai .” Ranvir responded with a smile, asking if Naezy had met her, to which Naezy replied that he hadn’t. Ranvir then pointed out, “Zone similar nahi hota toh bhai shaadi aur bacha nahi hota .” Ranvir and Konkona, who got married in 2010, divorced in 2020, and share a son named Haroon.
Naezy then asked Ranvir why so many relationships in the industry end in divorce. Ranvir explained that it’s not just an industry-specific issue but a societal one. He elaborated, “The feminist movement is abused at times. At times men are unable to tolerate it and sometimes women abuse it. These are the reasons… But the feminist movement is also important. In history, according to me, there is only one reason why women received second class treatment. What’s that? Women are physically weaker than men. That’s all. That’s why I say that the feminist movement is important.”
The conversation shed light on Ranvir’s perspective on societal issues and the dynamics of relationships within the entertainment industry.
Apart from Naezy and Ranvir, Bigg Boss OTT 3 features contestants like Adnaan Shaikh, Sana Makbul, Sai Ketan Rao, Sana Sultana, Deepak Chaurasia, Armaan Malik, Kritika Malik, Vishal Pandey, Lovekesh Kataria, and Shivani Kumari. Bigg Boss OTT 3 premiered on JioCinema Premium on June 21, with Anil Kapoor taking over as the new host, succeeding Salman Khan.
