The Battle for Phulera Begins! Panchayat Season 4 Trailer Drops, Show Gets Early Release

The popular comedy-drama show Panchayat has returned with its highly awaited fourth season, and it’s coming earlier than anticipated. The series was originally scheduled to be released on July 2, but due to massive fan engagement with an online voting campaign, the show will premiere on June 24 on Prime Video.

The official trailer, which was released on Wednesday, goes deep into the turbulent world of rural polls in the imaginary village of Phulera. While the contest for the ‘Pradhan’ (head of the village) intensifies, Manju Devi (Neena Gupta) and Kranti Devi (Sunita Rajwar) engage in a fierce and funny political battle. Campaign processions, slogans, tall claims, and village gossip take center stage as they bring the quintessential spirit of Indian village politics alive.

The excitement about the early release was a result of a special fan campaign on the website www.panchayatvoting.com, where fans were requested to vote for their preferred candidate Team Manju Devi or Team Kranti Devi. With more than 6.5 million votes received, the sheer response pushed the release date ahead, indicating how passionate the fans are about the Panchayat universe.

Developed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Chandan Kumar, and produced by The Viral Fever (TVF), Panchayat Season 4 maintains its outstanding cast Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, Sanvikaa, Durgesh Kumar, Sunita Rajwar, and Pankaj Jha.
