Gurucharan Singh, who is popularly known for his role as Roshan Singh Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has been suffering from serious health issues that made him hospitalize recently. His condition was said to be critical, and his friend Bhakti Soni said that since Gurucharan returned home in May 2024, he had stopped taking solid food.

Now, a ray of hope has been visible as he agreed to take food again. According to Bhakti Soni, Gurucharan’s health condition and financial matters are doing pretty well, for he got a deal of ₹13 lakh which was not only to reduce his economic burden but also to improve his mood.
Bhakti and her other friend had done all the hard work to get this money in the player’s account. But still, Bhakti is furious that no help is coming from Gurucharan’s colleagues. She went on to narrate how she had helped him by providing ₹33 lakh earlier, but now feels dejected as no member of the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah cast was seen raising a hand for assistance.
Bhakti also added that the publicist team of the show contacted her regarding Gurucharan’s health but didn’t offer him financial support; instead, they were talking to him only about his health condition. She mentioned that although monetary support is appreciated, what Gurucharan needs more is work for him to be back on track. Bhakti, in a recent interview, revealed that Gurucharan hadn’t drank any water for nearly 19 days. This made him weak and caused his hospitalization.
