Achieving the fame & recognition that megastar Amitabh Bachchan has, is a dream for many in the Bollywood industry. But, it is almost impossible to reach the position & earn respect which he has earned with dedication & hard work.
He is a wonderful human being without any starry air and it is very rare to find a superstar as humble & grounded as Big B. Not only that, he had been loved by the masses & critics alike and that shows with the numerous awards he has won.
And it will only be a dream for the actors of this generation to accomplish what Big B has. Even his son Abhishek Bachchan feels that competing with Amitabh Bachchan is a race that will be lost for sure.
When asked Abhisek if he and Big B compete with each other and what is the discussion around these awards he said, “I have 3 Filmfares but the elder generation has been a pro at winning them.
You'd be a fool if you compete with Amitabh Bachchan, you know that’s a race you're going to lose for sure.
He is most excited about the awards I have won and thankfully my entire family has been present for all the times I have won a Filmfare and it’s a moment I wanted to share with them. My father took me to the first ever Filmfare that I had ever gone to and I was accompanying him and he won an award.
So to have my family around when I win is always special. So, we don’t compete about these things, but ya they are all kept there.”
