NSD faculty and class actor, Adil Hussain, is probably entering the best phase of his career. His recent releases include, Sriram Raghavan’s AGENT VINOD, the Gauri Shinde directed ENGLISH VINGLISH, and not to forget, his short but impactful appearance in the Oscar nominated Ang Lee directed LIFE OF PI starring Irrfan Khan & Tabu along side.

When we recently caught up with Adil at an acting workshop he told us, ”One of my next (Hindi) release is going to be the Vikramaditya Motwane (UDAAN) directed LOOTERA, starring Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha.” When we asked him about his role he said, ”I cannot divulge much but it is a very unconventional role that I essay, and I must add that is one of the significant characters of LOOTERA.”

Well, coming from Adil the role must really be unconventional and unusual, and thus LOOTERA becomes all the more awaited.
