A little less than a year after his last hit 1920: EVIL RETURNS, Aftab Shivdasani is returning to the big screen with GRAND MASTI. This time around the stage and setting is entirely different from his horror affair since the Indra Kumar directed affair is expected to be a madcap affair.

While Aftab is reuniting with the MASTI team of Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi, one can see from the promos that GRAND MASTI is as naughty as a film can be on the big screen.
Says Aftab, “Well, a film like GRAND MASTI can easily border towards being vulgar. However our attempt has been to make it all look funny and not vulgar. I guess we have managed to do that. That’s our perception at least.”

Aftab knows for sure that extreme reactions are pretty much coming way of the film and its cast due to its treatment, steamy visuals and double meaning dialogues that form the core of GRAND MASTI.
“I am aware that some people out there might find the film a littler vulgar. That’s okay though, our film inherently is an adult comedy. We are not making bones about it and communicating the same to the audience. Eventually it is their call if they step in for the film. Of course if they do, which I am sure of, it would be great for all of us attached to the film.”
We would know if the messaging has indeed worked in a positive manner once the film hits the screens on 13th September 2013.
