His films in the recent past haven’t been very impressive. Ask him if he has any pressure with the release of MR X and he says, “My job as an actor is to deliver my hundred percent which I have given to each and every film. Eventually things don’t come together; sometimes films work sometimes they don’t and I’ve always said that I can guarantee you a flop; I can’t guarantee you a hit because that’s how actors work. Especially for an actor who is constantly doing films one after the other and taking risks, you just have to be in the race and constantly give your hundred percent in your films and then suddenly things happen and work around.
He further added, “There are so many things which come together in film making, so in this (MR X) we have almost give a year and half, two years, the VFX team has worked over time. So, for the entire crew & me it is a very important film in that sense.”
MR X also stars Amyra Dastur, Nora Fatehi & others. Directed by Vikram Bhatt, produced by Mahesh Bhatt & Mukesh Bhatt, MR X releases today, 17th April 2015.
