Girish Malik’s JAL is quite an awaited film. Ever since it went to the Busan Film Festival, the Mukul Dev starrer, JAL, has been a much talked about film.
However not much is known about the film except the obvious, given its title, JAL, which hints at something to do with water. So is it on the same topic as Shekher Kapoor’s proposed project PAANI.

To know the above and more we caught up with the lead actor, the ruggedly handsome Mukul Dev. ”No, I don’t think so. It is not like the Shekhar Kapoor venture that you talk about. The film has been beautifully captured in the Kutch desert and talks about water scarcity. There are two warring families/ tribes and obviously I am a strong force of one of the family.”
