Remo D’souza’s ABCD 2 copies Shah Rukh Khan’s film HAPPY NEW YEAR’s strategy

We all know how the marketing genius that Shah Rukh Khan is promoted his film HAPPY NEW YEAR on a grandeur scale. The King Khan organized an entire dance reality TV show called ‘Dil Se Naachein Indiawaale’ and joined hands with a GEC to promote his film. And now it seems the makers of the upcoming film ABCD 2 are going on the same lines. Looks like they are also quite impressed by SRK’s innovative idea of promoting the film.

Now the makers of ABCD 2 will also be doing a dance reality show in a bid to create a huge buzz around the film much like what HAPPY NEW YEAR team had done when their film was nearing the release.

Siddharth Roy Kapur, producer & CEO at Disney UTV, revealed about the promotional plans of ABCD 2 at the trailer launch event. “We are doing a TV show on Bindass, which is centered around the theme of dance and that is going to be on air around the time of release of the movie,” he said.
 
Well, after knowing about ABCD 2’s strategy, we hope the Remo D’souza directed film, starring Varun Dhawan & Shraddha Kapoor along with Prabhu Dheva, is as big a hit as SRK’s HAPPY NEW YEAR.
