While the Multiple National Award filmmaker Rituaparno Ghosh may have worked with many topnotch actors and directors, he always shared a special bond with the entire Bachchan family. Quite interestingly he worked with all the Bachchans individually at respective times.

Rituaparno directed megastar Amitabh Bachchan in THE LAST LEAR starring Preity Zinta alongside, while Jaya Bachchan worked in his film SUNGLASSES, which is yet to release. The only Bengali film which Abhishek Bachchan did was Ritu’s ANTAR MAHAL in 2005, while wifey Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was part of two of his films CHOKHER BALI and RAINCOAT .
As the demise news of the acclaimed filmmaker came, Abhishek was absolutely in shock state and remembered the strong Bachchan connection with the late filmmaker, Rituparno Ghosh.
