Salman Khan’s EK THA TIGER to touch 200 crore mark?

With Salman Khan's last three releases, DABANGG, READY and BODYGUARD crossing the hundred crore mark with consummate ease, his next, EK THA TIGER, is tipped to be his fourth consecutive 100 crore plus netter.

In fact there are even talks that ETT may even cross the 200 crore mark or get close to it. We also agree with it, and here is why!

First of all, EK THA TIGER reunites Salman Khan with the audience number one, Katrina Kaif, and is produced by India's premier production house Yash Raj Films, who are undoubtedly the best in the business today.

YRF have planned the release in such a meticulous way that there are a number of holidays in and around the release of ETT.

The film hits the screens on 15th August, Independence day, and after that 17th August too is a holiday on account of Jummat-ul-Wida (last Friday of Ramzaan) in many parts of India.

The next day, that is 18th August is a holiday for the Parsi New Year, and 19th is a Sunday. On 20th and 21st August there will be a two day holiday for Eid-ul-Fitr.

Moreover, there is a huge buzz surrounding the film that has increased after the 'Mashallah' song, featuring Salman and Katrina looking great, and the audience is super excited to see them together once again.

The promos of the film indicate that the film is laden with entertainment and 'masala' (the magic word these days!)

Keeping the above factors in mind it won't be a surprise at all if EK THA TIGER embarks on the best ever opening in the history of Hindi cinema, netting over 125 crore during the first nine days itself, and don't forget where you read it first!
