Actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who impressed all with his debut film KAI PO CHE!, followed by SHUDDH DESI ROMANCE, has recently wrapped up his next film DETECTIVE BYOMKESH BAKSHI.
DETECTIVE BYOMKESH BAKSHI is produced by Yash Raj Films and is directed by Dibaker Bannerjee.

A statement released by the actor’s spokesperson confirmed the news. While the statement was issued with reference to false reports stating Sushant walking out of Shekhar Kapur’s PAANI, it also mentioned that the actor has wrapped up DETECTIVE BYOMKESH BAKSHI.
“We were very amused to read speculations that Sushant Singh Rajput is not in PAANI due to a variety of absurd reasons. There is absolutely NO truth to it. Sushant keeps a low profile and let’s his work speak for itself. He has recently completed DETECTIVE BYOMKESH BAKSHI and is deep in preparations for Paani given the scale of the film. We’ll shortly also be making some exciting announcements on his new projects,” read the statement.
DETECTIVE BYOMKESH BAKSHI is slated to release on February 13, 2015.
