The groundwork is all done and it is now time for action. After months of preparation that saw numerous workshops, photo-shoots, classes and everything else that is associated with grooming a future superstar, Sajid Nadiadwala‘s HEROPANTI is now all set to go on floors.

“Sajid and (director) Sabbir Khan were sure that they won’t begin the film’s shoot before Tiger was 110% ready for it. They intended to wait and then begin the route of lights, camera and action instead of the other way round. This means they had to wait patiently for the year gone by till they were sure of how the results would eventually look like on screen. Of course Tiger was on but then this was never meant to be a hasty launch. It was a new experience for them as well since they have worked only with superstars before,” informs a source.
This in fact is true because Sajid has worked extensively with the likes of Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor to name a few. On the other hand Sabbir had turned lucky with actors like Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor on board in his debut flick KAMBAKKHT ISHQ.

Confirms Sabbir, “Yes, we have spent a lot of hours into workshops and acting classes. Tiger is now trained in action, dance, dialogue delivery and more. For a film like HEROPANTI where he is playing a rebel and has to just let loose, there is a lot that Tiger had to adapt in his body language and mannerisms. We are set now.”
For Sajid Nadiadwala too, the wait has been worth it. “When you are launching a star for tomorrow, you have to invest in the present. It isn’t a question of being patient since it goes with the territory. What you have to ensure is that an actor is up for the job when the stage is set. This way, Tiger has given me good confidence to roll.”
