Actress Millie Bobby Brown, known for her roles in projects like ‘Stranger Things’, has addressed criticism regarding her accent adaptation in her work. Growing up between England and the US, she has faced comments about her accent.

In an interview with Max Balegde on TikTok, Brown responded to the criticism by explaining that as an actor, she adapts to the environment she’s in. She emphasized her upbringing in America and her profession as an actor, stating that she naturally mimics the accents of those around her, whether it’s her fiancée, people like Jimmy Fallon with American accents, or when she’s in England.

Brown expressed her intentions weren’t deliberate and apologized if it offended anyone, emphasizing that she’s trying her best to adapt. She acknowledged that being in different environments prompts her to replicate the accents she hears.

The actress, who gained fame through ‘Stranger Things’ at a young age, is currently starring in the fantasy film ‘Damsel’, in which she also serves as an executive producer.
