Jamai Raja was a popular show that ran for almost three years. The pair of Ravi Dubey and Nia Sharma received a lot of love from fans.
The original show revolved around Sid Khurana played by Ravi Dubey, who took on the responsibility of mending a troubled relationship between his strong, fiercely independent mother-in-law Durga Devi aka DD played by Achint Kaur and wife Roshni played by Nia Sharma.

In the teaser, It seems this is not a rom-com what we expected but a suspense thriller. On Ravi Dubey’s entry in the teaser, he resembles of Aamir Khan from Dhoom 3. The teaser gives the briefest look at Jamai 2.0 plot, which certainly isn’t enough to give us an idea of how the story unfolds. The series also stars Nia Sharma and Achint Kaur in pivotal roles. The show will premier on Zee5 premium.
