As expected and predicted Yash Raj Films’ Habib Faisal directed ISHAQZAADE got a better response from the audience as compared to Vikram Bhatt’s DANGEROUS ISHHQ.

As per the initial reports, ISHAQZAADE saw a 25-35 percent start, while some multiplexes were better and even had a 50 percent opening. The response from the audience is mixed, leaning towards positive, so there was an indication of pick up during the latter shows.
The other new release, Karisma Kapoor‘s comeback vehicle, DANGEROUS ISHHQ, saw an ordinary start, varying from 15-25 percent. The 3D version though was better with around 35-40 percent. The response from the public is mixed and so there was no perceptible improvement in the latter shows.

As things stand, if the audience can accept the unconventional ending of ISHAQZAADE, the film can mark a memorable debut for Arjun Kapoor, while DANGEROUS ISHHQ has to work much harder to make Karisma’s comeback a successful one.
