Basking in the glory of his film HOUSEFULL 2 completing a century at the ticket window, Chunky Pandey aka Aakhri Pasta is delighted that he has once again been accepted with open arms by the audience.

The only character to have continued from HOUSEFULL, Chunky’s Aakhri Pasta act has indeed become an iconic one, with his arrival raising laughs across all sections of the audience, especially the children who have loved his zany and whacky comedy. He has held his own against a seasoned comedian like Johnny Lever.

When we asked Chunky as to why it was just his character that was continued from the original HOUSEFULL, he replied, ‘Aakhri Pasta is a vagabond. In fact nothing much is known about his parents (Maa baap ka kuch pata nahi!). He can fit into any scheme of things. Another reason is that Sajid Nadiadwala loves this character, and Sajid Khan (director of HOUSEFULL 2) too likes Akhri Pasta. It’s good to have the producer and director by your side,’ he concludes laughingly.
Well, Chunky has indeed done full justice to his role, and we are sure that HOUSEFULL 3 will once again see the hilarious antics of Aakhri Pasta.
