Filmmaker Karan Johar announced that his next ventureYEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI will release on January 2013. Dharma Productions’ YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI stars Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles.

Karan tweeted on the social networking site, ‘YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI…our film starring Ranbir and Deepika…directed by Ayan Mukerji will release in JANUARY 2013!!!’
The film is currently being shot in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The month long schedule started on May 2 and will last through the end of the month.

Directed by Ayaan Mukherji, this is the second movie where Ayaan and Ranbir will work together. Before this, they did WAKE UP SID which was again a Dharma Productions movie.
The film additionally features Kalki Koechlin, Evelyn Sharma and Aditya Roy Kapoor while Rana Daggubati will play a cameo.
