Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, who has agreed to present and promote director Mangesh Hadawale’s film DEKH INDIAN CIRCUS, was initially approached to play the lead role in it.

Initially, producers Chirag Shah and Mahaveer Jain had approached Imtiaz Ali with the lead role. However, though he liked the film, he refused to face the camera and decided to focus on his directorial ventures.
After the film was completed, producer Mahaveer Jain and director Mangesh Hadawale met Imtiaz and showed him the film. Imtiaz was totally floored and delighted to watch the movie and felt that the movie should reach a maximum number of people.
Imtiaz Ali is the presenter of the film and very few people know that, the only reason why he agreed to present the film is that his name could enable the film to reach out to as many people as they can.
