If rumours are to be believed, Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi would be coming together again after ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI. This would be for the film’s sequel, which is all set for an August release.

”Though the lead protagonists in this Milan Luthria-directed biopic are Akshay Kumar and Imran Khan, Ajay and Emraan would be seen as well. Remember, this is a true sequel per se and not a mere franchise where original characters and the basic storyline can be entirely done away with. The story is moving forward with Shoaib’s (Emraan Hashmi) character,” informs an insider.
Though our sources confirm that neither Ajay nor Emraan have shot for the film, some key shots from the first part of this Balaji production will be retained for the sequel.
”Emraan has made way for Akshay in the film but there would be a few references of him in the sequel. On the other hand though Ajay’s character was shot dead in the climax of the first part but some of his iconic scenes with his smart dialogues, would be played again now,” the insider hints.

The makers are mum though on the ‘news’ making rounds. On contacted, they neither denied nor confirmed presence of Ajay and Emraan in the film.
”I can’t comment on whether there are flashback sequences from ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI or not,” said Rajat Arora, the film’s writer. ”You may check that when the film releases!”
