Things we learnt from DHOOM 3

So arguably the biggest film of 2013, DHOOM 3 has finally released and it has taught us many lessons. Read on but remember the following article contains spoilers. You've been warned.

Even after so many years, Jai Dixit is still an ACP
Like our very own ACP Pradyuman from CID, even Jai Dixit doesn't get promoted even after so many years of taking down baddies and is still an ACP.

Chicago Police can't nail Asian robbers
The villain leaves his clues in Hindi after he robs a bank. So the Chicago Police actually call cops from Mumbai to help them nab him. We think a translator would've worked perfectly. But looking for logic in a Bollywood film is not a good thing after all.

Who needs bikes when auto rickshaws can do the trick
DHOOM and DHOOM 2 might have been about bikes and so is DHOOM 3. But it's also about auto rickshaws. ACP Jai Dixit and his close aide Ali use a rickshaw to nab a whole bunch of bad guys. And they do it quite effortlessly.

CCTV cameras can't be used to nab the bad guys
So the bad guy walks down the side of a bank in broad daylight, vrooms on his bike through the city as he's being chased by the cops. He gets away in the end but nobody thinks of using CCTV camera footage to figure his identity to prevent him from robbing again.

Villains don't always kill heroes
Unlike typical villains, the villain of DHOOM 3, Aamir Khan suddenly has a change of heart and doesn't kill ACP Jai Dixit. That makes sense. If Abhishek Bachchan was killed, who would star in DHOOM 4 then?
