Actress Adah Sharma who made a stunning debut via Vikram Bhatt’s horror flick, 1920 and confused many with her ‘phoren’ (foreign!) looks is now on cloud nine. The reason? Double success simultaneously in Hyderabad and Mumbai.
We are obviously talking about the first Telugu blockbuster of the year, Puri Jagannadh’s HEART ATTACK and the Vinil Mathew directed HASEE TOH PHASEE.

When we asked the pretty lass about her first reactions, she replied laughingly, ”I got a heart attack!” We queried Adah as to why she was absent from the promotions of HASEE TOH PHASEE and whether she felt bad about missing out, and she clarified, ”Why should I feel bad about it? When I had signed HASEE TOH PHASEE I knew very well that I had pivotal and not a blink and miss role. How the film is promoted is the job of the PR and marketing team. An actor’s job stops once the post production starts. In a nutshell I am very happy that the critics have appreciated my role and more than that it is great to be a part of a Dharma Production banner,” and she concludes by crooning the KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI signature tune.
Not willing to let go off so easily we queried her about a buzz that she has been finalized to essay the main lead in a huge Telugu project opposite the reigning super-star, but she was non-committal about the same.
Well, we have to admit that ‘beauty with brains’ description fits Adah Sharma perfectly.
