Diljit Dosanjh recently shared a hilarious behind-the-scenes vlog from the making of Chal Kudiye, where he humorously mimicked his Jigra co-star Alia Bhatt. In the video posted on Instagram Reels, Diljit playfully imitated Alia, delivering lines like, “Hoon hoon Diljit ji kaha the aap. Arrey cameraman jaldi focus karo. Diljit ji, aap Bombay mein concert kyun nahi kar rahe hain? Filmein bhi aap bahut kam karte hain, bas gaane karte hain.” His spot-on mimicry had fans in splits, with him joking about balancing concerts, films, and singing.
He wrapped up the vlog with, “Okay Diljit ji, very, very Namaskar. Our film is coming out on 11th October. Watch it again and again.” In the video, Diljit sported a white suit while Alia wore a casual black T-shirt and cargo pants.
Diljit’s funny post garnered plenty of reactions, including a comment from Dharma Productions that read, “Nothing, just two Jigras catching up!” Alia Bhatt herself responded with laughing emojis. Fans couldn’t stop praising Diljit’s humor, with one commenting, “Diljit be like: Acting, singing, vlogging, concerts sb krungaa (I will do everything).” Another fan pointed out the exciting Bohemia feature in the video.
Jigra, set for release on October 11, 2024, is an action-thriller directed by Vasan Bala. The film stars Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, with notable actors like Manoj Pahwa and Rahul Ravindran playing crucial roles. It is co-produced by Alia’s Eternal Sunshine Productions and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
