Akshay Kumar’s film Kesari Chapter 2 is the story of a true hero, which will make you feel proud and honoured. This film is the story of C Shankaran Nair, who was a lawyer and also held a good position in the British government. But after the Jallianwala Bagh incident, he opened a front against the British and fought a case.

You must have heard the story of Jallianwala Bagh through different sources and must have known how the British had showered bullets on thousands of unarmed Indians and killed them. The story of the film Kesari Chapter 2 is set in the backdrop of the same Jallianwala Bagh and it shows how the case was heard in the court after the massacre and what happened to General Dyer.

Talking about the direction and writing of the film, Karan Singh Tyagi and Amritpal Singh Bindra have written the film and Karan Singh Tyagi has directed the film.

Both of them have done a wonderful job and we cannot praise them enough for this because they have written the screenplay in such a way that it shows the cruelty of General Dyer as well as humanity. And Indianness is also visible. While the film Kesari Chapter 2 tries to show that Hindus and Muslims had gathered together to celebrate Rannavami and that is when they were attacked, on the other hand it also shows this It is said that some British officers did not fire on the unarmed Indians in Jallianwala Bagh despite Dyer’s orders.

The screenplay of the film is fast. The film is of 2 hours and 15 minutes which ends quickly. The dialogues are well written which suit the story and characters of the film. While watching the film, sometimes anger surges, sometimes emotions surge and sometimes patriotism surges.

Overall, this movie is a must watch. This movie will make you feel proud and will make you realize that there have been heroes in our country that we don’t know about.
