Shah Rukh Khan marked Independence Day with a heartfelt message and a nostalgic throwback photo featuring his youngest son, AbRam, at their Bandra residence, Mannat. Known for celebrating the occasion by hoisting the Indian flag with his family, the superstar’s post was accompanied by warm wishes and reflections on freedom and pride.
In the shared photo, Shah Rukh is seen dressed in a white T-shirt and denim, a simple yet iconic look for the tricolour hoisting ceremony. AbRam stands beside him, capturing a rare moment between father and son. The photo, seemingly from last year, gained emotional significance as the family has temporarily moved out of Mannat due to ongoing renovations and the addition of new floors. Sharing the image, SRK wrote, “Our Independence is our greatest gift… a key to our progress. Let’s keep our heads held high and hearts open. Happy Independence Day to all of us… Jai Hind!”
Fellow superstar Salman Khan also extended his wishes with an emotional rendition of “Saare Jahan Se Accha,” adding a personal touch to the national celebration. He concluded the video with folded hands and his signature salaam, posting it alongside the Indian flag emoji.
