Ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli has officially presented Prithviraj Sukumaran as the main villain, Kumbha, in his highly anticipated action-adventure epic GlobeTrotter, which features the lead pair of Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra. The revelation came along with a striking first-look poster that shows Prithviraj in dark and commanding attire, thus instantly setting the tone for what looks to be one of the most formidable villains in Rajamouli’s universe.
Sharing the poster on social media, Rajamouli praised Prithviraj’s performance, particularly in the high-voltage climax sequence of the film. “Prithviraj has brought an intensity to Kumbha that’s beyond imagination. His screen presence during the climax gave us chills,” the director wrote, triggering massive excitement among fans.
The lead actor, Mahesh Babu, replied by sharing the poster with his own cryptic message, promising an epic battle between himself and the villain. “See you soon, Kumbha. Let’s finish what we started,” Mahesh wrote, teasing fans about the face-off that is to come.
The team has kickstarted a daily promotional reveal in the lead-up to the grand title and teaser launch on November 15 at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.
