She was 81 years old and had been suffering from age-related ailments. Zarine is survived by her husband and their four children — Sussanne Khan, Simone Arora, Farah Ali Khan, and Zayed Khan.
Zarine Khan was admired for her grace, talent, and creative accomplishments beyond her connection to Bollywood. A gifted interior designer and cookbook author, she penned the popular Family Secrets: The Khan Family Cookbook, which offered readers a glimpse into the Khan family’s culinary heritage. Zarine also had a brief stint in films, appearing in the 1963 classic Tere Ghar Ke Samne.
