Maanvi Gagroo Gets Emotional About Four More Shots Please Finale: “We Cried on the Last Day”

Maanvi Gagroo gets candid about tears, growth and friendship as Four More Shots Please! prepares for an emotional farewell in its final season on Prime Video.

The fourth and final season of Four More Shots Please! is all set to premiere this week, marking the end of an era for fans of the bold, friendship-driven series. Sayani Gupta, Kirti Kulhari, Bani J and Maanvi Gagroo return as the beloved quartet for one last chapter, promising emotions, growth and closure. As anticipation builds, Maanvi has opened up about saying goodbye to her character Siddhi and the deep bond she shares with her co-stars.

Speaking about the moment the cast learned that season four would be the final one, Maanvi said there was nothing but excitement and energy on set. “We were thrilled and thought, let’s do it one last time. There was so much enthusiasm. We came in with this insane level of energy,” she shared. However, reality hit her unexpectedly on the last day of the shoot. “While driving to the location, it suddenly struck me that I would never play Siddhi again. There would be no MANG. When we shot the final scene, we just started crying. We were laughing and crying at the same time. It was very emotional.”

Reflecting on Siddhi’s journey, Maanvi explained how the character has grown over the seasons. While Siddhi remains the same at her core, life experiences have shaped her maturity. “One major change is that she learns to accept herself. Her journey is really about self-love,” she said. Siddhi’s evolution also had a personal impact on the actress. Maanvi revealed that although she considered herself confident, she struggled with body consciousness, especially when it came to clothing. “Siddhi helped me overcome that on a subliminal level. I didn’t even realise when the change happened, but it did,” she admitted.

For longtime viewers, the final season promises emotional payoff. “If you’ve followed these girls through all three seasons, you’ll remember why you loved them. There’s a sense of closure,” Maanvi said, adding that the aim was to end on a high note — leaving fans wanting more but still satisfied with the journey.

Talking about her bond with the cast, she was clear that the friendships won’t end with the show. “We’ll definitely keep meeting. We have enough WhatsApp groups to keep the friendship alive,” she joked. She described Kirti as an elder-sister figure, Sayani as a like-minded peer, and Bani as fiercely protective. “With the crew too, it’s like family. We’ve been through everything together,” she said.

Produced by Pritish Nandy Communications, Four More Shots Please! Season 4 premieres exclusively on Prime Video on December 19.
