Newlyweds Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have been embracing tradition and spirituality following their intimate wedding on February 26 in Udaipur. After returning to Hyderabad, the couple began their post-wedding journey by seeking blessings and reconnecting with Vijay’s roots.
Shortly after their return, the pair visited the revered Tirupati Tirumala Temple to offer prayers and mark the beginning of their married life with divine blessings.
Soon after, the couple travelled to Vijay’s native village, Thummanpet, located in Mahbubnagar district. Their arrival was met with warmth and celebration as villagers gathered to welcome them with traditional rituals.
Videos circulating on fan pages captured the moment the couple entered the village, greeted by elders who performed customary rituals before guiding them toward their newly constructed farmhouse.
For the occasion, Vijay chose a pastel green kurta, maintaining an understated yet elegant traditional look. Rashmika complemented him beautifully in a dark blue silk saree, reflecting grace and cultural richness.

The farmhouse itself was adorned with floral decorations, creating a festive atmosphere for the Satyanarayana puja held there. The ceremony symbolized blessings for prosperity and harmony as the couple stepped into a new chapter together.
The celebrations extended beyond the village rituals. Just a day earlier, Rashmika and Vijay attended the Pelli Koduku function of Allu Sirish, younger brother of Allu Arjun.
Photos from the event quickly gained attention online, particularly those featuring the newlyweds alongside Allu Arjun. Fans were delighted by the reunion, especially given Rashmika’s on-screen collaborations with the actor in Pushpa: The Rise and its sequel.
The couple’s wedding in Udaipur was reportedly conducted following both Telugu and Kodava traditions at ITC Mementos. The ceremony was an intimate affair attended by close family and loved ones.
For the Telugu wedding, Rashmika wore a rich rust saree highlighted by a striking red border. The design featured intricate temple-inspired motifs, drawing from architectural elements commonly found in Hyderabad’s historic structures.

Vijay’s attire also reflected cultural depth. He chose an ivory dhoti silhouette paired with a vermillion angavastram, inspired by traditional weaving styles rooted in Hyderabad’s textile heritage.
Together, their wedding ensembles represented not just personal style but also a celebration of history and identity.
From spiritual visits to family gatherings and traditional ceremonies, Rashmika and Vijay’s post-wedding journey has blended cultural roots with heartfelt moments.
Their visit to Thummanpet, in particular, stood out as a meaningful return to origins — highlighting the importance of community and tradition in their lives.
As they begin this new chapter, their celebrations reflect a harmonious mix of heritage, family bonds, and modern life — marking a memorable start to their journey together.
