Paris Hilton surprised fans with a new look after stepping out with her children, Phoenix and London, at the Traverse City Cherry Festival in Michigan. Known for her signature platinum blonde hair, the television personality and entrepreneur debuted long brunette hair during the family outing, giving fans a fresh glimpse of her changing style.
Photos from the event showed Paris walking hand in hand with her children. She wore a floral maxi dress, a bucket hat and sunglasses, while her long wavy brunette hair marked a noticeable change from her usual hairstyle. Her son Phoenix, 3, wore a short sleeved romper, while her daughter London, 2, was dressed in a pink shorts set. In another picture, the family enjoyed a boat ride together, with both children wearing life jackets as Paris hugged them closely.
Paris also shared more pictures and videos from the day on Instagram. The family was seen enjoying rides, visiting game stalls and spending time together at the festival. One of the clips showed Paris sitting with her children at the edge of a dock during sunset, capturing a quiet family moment.
Sharing the memories on Instagram, she wrote, “Healing my inner child while creating the sweetest core memories with my #CutesieCrew at the Cherry Festival. 🍒🎡🎢 There’s nothing better than seeing the smiles, sharing the laughs, and making memories we’ll never forget🥹🥰✨👧🏼🧒🏼✨”.
This is not the first time Paris has experimented with darker hair. In May, she appeared with dark brown hair while walking the runway for the Gucci Cruise 2027 fashion show. She wore a gold and yellow dress with a fur coat, black boots and a red handbag, completing the look with side bangs.
She has also previously worn brunette wigs. In December 2025, she chose a dark wig and oversized glasses during a visit to Disneyland. In 2024, she once again switched from blonde to brunette while on a shopping trip in Beverly Hills with her husband Carter Reum, whom she married in 2021.
Paris has often spoken about her famous blonde hairstyle. Looking back at one of her most talked about haircuts, she told Us Weekly, “I was not paying attention, just like on my phone and then I looked up and I had like long hair all the way down to my waist at this point, and I looked up and he had cut my hair all the way to my ears.”
She added, “I was so in shock and I looked in the mirror and I didn’t know what to say. He’s like ‘Do you like it?’ And I went to the bathroom and called my sister crying.”
Although the haircut was unplanned, Paris later embraced the style. She also told The Zoe Report, “I really love platinum blond, especially my little bob era in the 2000s. I think that was such a moment.”
She added, “Recently, I have been doing the platinum blond look, which I love. It’s just so bright and beautiful. And I always come back to my Y2K blonde waves. I think they’re timeless, and I always feel really confident [in them]. Experimenting with different blond looks has always been so much fun for me. I always love surprising my fans with new looks.”
