Diljit Dosanjh is making the most of his time in Japan before beginning the Europe leg of his Aura World Tour 2026. The Punjabi superstar recently shared a fun travel video that has caught the attention of fans across social media. While exploring the beautiful streets of Japan, Diljit was left surprised by the country’s incredible cleanliness. In the video, he can be seen walking around with a small piece of garbage in his hand, trying to find a roadside dustbin. What impressed him the most was that despite not finding many public bins, the streets were completely clean without any litter lying around. He praised the people of Japan for maintaining such a high level of cleanliness and admired the discipline that keeps the country looking so beautiful.
The singer and actor also gave fans a closer look at his journey through Japan. He explored busy streets, visited local markets and enjoyed some of the country’s famous food. From tasting delicious Japanese dishes to treating himself to ice cream, Diljit appeared to be enjoying every moment of his vacation. He also visited local shops and shared several glimpses of his sightseeing experience. Along with the video, he wrote, “BEFORE EUROPE TOUR JATT EXPLORING BEAUTIFUL JAPAN Jaldi Milde An Europe AURA WORLD TOUR 2026 (sic).” His travel updates have received a warm response from fans, who loved seeing him experience a new culture with his usual sense of humour and curiosity.
Before this light hearted travel update, Diljit had made headlines for speaking out in support of students after the Delhi Police’s alleged use of force to disperse thousands of students and youth activists during a CJP led protest march to Parliament on July 20. Sharing his thoughts on social media, the actor reflected on the criticism he has faced in the past for expressing his views.
Diljit recalled that he was repeatedly called “anti national” after supporting the farmers’ protest. He wrote, “Mere Te Already Anti Nationalist Da Tag Baut Vaar Lagg Chuka.. Hun V Mainu Anti-nationalist Keha Jaega. After Kisan Protest.. I faced a Lot of Backlash & Legal Problems which I can’t Even Discuss.. Baki Rab Sab Dekh Reha, Baba Bhalli Karu.”
Through his message, Diljit said that he has faced criticism and legal challenges for standing by causes he believes in, but he continues to place his faith in God.
