Tiger Shroff’s much-anticipated action film, Baaghi 4, hit the big screens on September 5, and as expected, the adrenaline-pumping drama opened to a strong response at the box office. Despite clashing with Vivek Agnihotri’s politically-charged The Bengal Files, the fourth installment in the Baaghi franchise managed to carve a solid space for itself.
Rs 12 Crore Opening Day Collection
Going by initial projections by Sacnilk, Baaghi 4 made a decent Rs 12 crore till 10:35 PM on the opening day. This amount comfortably positions it among the 2025 highest openers, crossing the first Baaghi (Rs 11.85 crore) and quite a few other recent films this year. Yet, it still remained below the Baaghi 3 (Rs 17.5 crore) and Baaghi 2 (Rs 25.10 crore) marks.
Beated 25 Bollywood Releases of 2025
Comparatively, in terms of performance, Baaghi 4 surpassed the opening day collections of more than 25 Bollywood movies released this year. These movies were some of the likes of Nikita Roy, Metro In Dino, Maalik, Phule, Emergency, and Badass Ravi Kumar. The movie also surpassed larger star-studded releases such as Deva, Dhadak 2, Param Sundari, and Kesari Chapter 2.
This performance indicates the sustained popularity of Tiger Shroff among action cinema audiences and reconfirms the brand equity of the Baaghi franchise.
High on Action, Drama, and Star Power
Directed by Ahmed Khan and scripted by Sajid Nadiadwala, Baaghi 4 returns the franchise’s trademark – slick stunts, dramatic battles, and high-octane action. Starring Tiger Shroff, with Sanjay Dutt, Harnaaz Sandhu, Shreyas Talpade, Saurabh Sachdeva, Upendra Limaye, and Sonam Bajwa.
With new faces and high-octane action, the movie has fetched strongly with youth as well as genre lovers.

Can It Sustain the Momentum?
Although Baaghi 4 has opened well, all will be looking at its weekend performance to see if it can sustain its box office prospects in the longer run. With robust competition from The Bengal Files and other upcoming films, sustaining momentum post-first weekend will be pivotal.
Still, given its promising start and Tiger Shroff’s fan base, Baaghi 4 is poised to be another successful chapter in the franchise if it holds steady in the coming days.
