The latest box office numbers for Dhurandhar 2 are showing that the film is still performing very well and has not slowed down. The Ranveer Singh starrer continues to attract large audiences even on its second week. According to early estimates, the film collected around 37 crore rupees by 9 pm on its second Friday, March 27. With this, the total India net collection has reached about 71 crore rupees so far for the day. The final numbers are expected to be slightly higher once all reports are in.
On a global level, the film has already created history. Titled Dhurandhar The Revenge, the movie has crossed a huge 1088 crore rupees worldwide within just its first week. This makes it one of the biggest hits in Indian cinema. Out of this, around 814 crore rupees came from India, while 274 crore rupees were earned from overseas markets. The net collection within India alone stands close to 690 crore rupees.
The makers of the film have shared that it has been performing strongly every single day since its release. It has broken several major records, including becoming the fastest Indian film to cross the 1000 crore mark globally. It also recorded one of the biggest opening weekends and managed to stay steady during weekdays, which is not easy for most films.
The movie had a massive start, earning about 761 crore rupees worldwide in just its first four days. Even after that, it continued to do well by collecting 64 crore on Monday, 58 crore on Tuesday, 49 crore on Wednesday, and 53 crore on Thursday in India. It also made history by becoming the first Indian film to earn more than 100 crore rupees in a single day in one language, with 145 crore coming from previews and opening day collections.
Directed by Lokesh Dhar, the film is a sequel to his 2025 hit. It was released on March 19 in multiple languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Along with Ranveer Singh, the film also stars R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi.
The story is set in Karachi and follows the journey of a man named Hamza Ali Mazari, who rises in the criminal world while hiding his past as a secret agent.
