Maa’s Magic Continues: Kajol’s Film Collects Rs 23 Crore in 5 Days, Will It Cross Rs 50 Crore?

Kajol’s return to the big screen after three years with the mythological horror thriller Maa has witnessed a steady rise at the box office. Directed by Vishal Furia and produced by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande, the film had a modest opening day, earning Rs 4.65 crore. However, positive word-of-mouth and increasing audience interest have helped the film pick up pace, especially by Day 5.

According to box office estimates from Sacnilk, Maa earned Rs 2.85 crore on its first Tuesday (Day 5), up from Rs 2.5 crore on Monday. The total collection now stands at Rs 23 crore. This growth is notable considering the film has been competing with major releases like Kannappa, which debuted with Rs 9.35 crore, and Sitaare Zameen Par.
