Tiger Shroff’s new action movie, Baaghi 4, is experiencing a lackluster run at the box office, unable to deliver as expected despite being part of an immensely popular and well-performing franchise. In its opening week, the movie has witnessed a dramatic drop in daily collections, finding it difficult to maintain a strong pace after a good beginning.
Poor Box Office Reception
On Day 6, Baaghi 4 collected only Rs 1.93 crore, as per initial Sacnilk estimates, taking its overall collection to Rs 41.68 crore. The movie had a decent opening day with Rs 12 crore, but its collections have gradually declined ever since. Under-performance has been particularly stark when matched against competing releases.
Hollywood horror movie The Conjuring: Last Rites, which also hit the screens in the same week, raked in Rs 2.55 crore on Wednesday, taking its total in India to Rs 63.55 crore—a huge contrast to Baaghi 4’s declining numbers.
Fan Frenzy at Gaiety Galaxy
Amid the film’s lukewarm reception, Tiger Shroff made a surprise appearance at Mumbai’s Gaiety Galaxy cinema on Sunday, September 7, giving fans a moment to remember. During the visit, Tiger thrilled the audience by removing his green ribbed sleeveless T-shirt, revealing his signature six-pack abs.
The audience went wild as Tiger threw his T-shirt into the crowd, an act that instantaneously became a viral sensation worldwide. Clips of the incident caught attendees yelling and reaching out to grab the unplanned memento, proving the actor’s loyal fan base despite the movie’s lackluster run.
About the Film
Baaghi 4 is a 2025 Indian Hindi-language action thriller directed by A. Harsha, who makes his Hindi film debut. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the movie features Tiger Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, Sonam Bajwa, and Harnaaz Sandhu, who makes her Hindi film debut.
The movie is the fourth of Baaghi franchise and an unofficial remake of Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu from 2013, a Tamil film. Owing to the action-oriented formula and strong brand base, the movie failed to match the box office performance of the prequels.
