Adhik Ravichandran’s action movie Good Bad Ugly, starring Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan, has reached the ₹100 crore mark at the box office just five days after its release. The movie, released on April 10, has been doing well despite some initial teething problems during its run.
As per a Sacnilk report, the movie raked in an estimated ₹15 crore net on its opening Monday in India, taking its total to ₹101.30 crore. Good Bad Ugly opened strongly with ₹29.25 crore but saw a whopping 48% decline on Friday, taking ₹15 crore. The movie, however, made a good recovery over the weekend, earning ₹19.75 crore on Saturday and ₹22.30 crore on Sunday. Despite Monday’s dip, the movie has kept a tight hold on the box office.

On Track to Be Top Tamil Grosser of 2025
Globally, Good Bad Ugly is soon reaching a milestone. The movie will be crossing Dragon soon, becoming the top-grossing Tamil film of the year 2025. Mythri Movie Makers has produced the movie with a galaxy of stars such as Arjun Das, Sunil, Karthikeya Dev, Priya Prakash Varrier, Prabhu, Prasanna, Tinnu Anand, and Raghu Ram, in addition to Ajith and Trisha.

Plot and Audience Response
Good Bad Ugly tells the tale of Red Dragon aka AK, a gangster who goes clean for the love of his wife Ramya. But when their son comes under threat, AK is made to go back to his bloodthirsty ways. Despite having split reviews primarily for being too full of fan service the film has pleased Ajith’s dedicated fan base, who continue to flock in huge numbers to watch the film.
