Superstar Mohanlal’s latest release, Thudarum, directed by Tharun Moorthy, has shattered records to become the first Malayalam film to cross ₹100 crore at the Kerala box office.
Released on April 25, Thudarum has enjoyed an unstoppable run, dethroning 2018 as the highest-grossing Malayalam film in the state. In just 19 days, it has amassed ₹104 crore net in India and a staggering ₹208 crore worldwide in just 18 days, according to Sacnilk. Mohanlal took to social media to express his gratitude, writing, “#Thudarum storms into the record books with its first 100 crore mark exclusively at the Kerala box office! A milestone that we created together! Thank you, Kerala.”

The celebratory poster proclaims it as “A new chapter in Kerala box office history.” Previously, 2018 had set the bar with ₹83.31 crore net in Kerala and ₹110.53 crore gross across India. Thudarum has now comfortably surpassed that milestone.
