The coming Friday will see the release of PVR Pictures and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Pictures' TEEN THAY BHAI. One feels that the film needed more time to grow and so it may not achieve anything significant at the box-office despite some novel promotion.
The opening of UTV's Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty , Irrfan Khan, Sonam Kapoor and Rimi Sen starrer, THANK YOU, was not expected to be bumper, but the numbers on the opening day (around 5 crore) were well below par. All the same the good thing is that the film showed a healthy growth during the weekend and is holding decently during the weekdays. However, THANK YOU has shockingly low numbers in the Overseas grossing ?160,000 in the UK and $250,000 in the US during the opening weekend (8-10 April).

Concluding with TANU WEDS MANU, for the first time the film fell heavily collecting 1 lakh from Bombay 2.75 lakhs from Delhi city, 1 lakh from Hyderabad and 2 lakh from Bangalore. Adding a further 25 lakhs TANU WEDS MANU has netted 39.25 crores in six weeks from India. The Madhavan-Kangna starrer is a hit plus. TANU WEDS MANU has also done well in the Overseas despite a limited release grossing ?100,000 in the UK and $240,000 from the US.
