The trailer of Good Bad Ugly, director Adhik Ravichandran’s much-awaited action thriller starring Ajith Kumar, dropped on Friday, sending fans into a frenzy. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Adhik shared the trailer link with the caption, “#GoodBadUglyTrailer is here. Thank you dear sir #AjithKumar sir. @MythriOfficial.”

Explosive First Look: Villains, Drama, and a “Bad Boy”
The trailer opens in style with Arjun Das, who plays a dashing antagonist, dancing to the folk hit Otha Rooba Tharen. His character challenges Ajith’s, declaring, “AK sir, I just pulled out your history… In my game, I am your villain.” The drama escalates with Trisha’s character revealing a past grudge, followed by Ajith’s powerful monologue: “I gave up smoking for myself, drinking for my wife, and violence for my son. But if my son is in danger… I’ll return to what I left behind.”
Action-packed sequences, intense confrontations, and bold one-liners—like Ajith warning, “You will have your hands and legs, but not your life”set the tone for a high-voltage actioner. The trailer signs off with his swagger-filled line: “Bad boy.”
Trailer Delay and Fan Frenzy
Originally set for a 9:01 p.m. release, the trailer saw a slight delay due to technical issues. Production house Mythri Movie Makers explained that massive online traffic temporarily overwhelmed their servers. “MASS SAMBAVAM” had truly taken over.
Grand Release and Stellar Crew
Good Bad Ugly features a stellar cast including Trisha, Arjun Das, Prabhu, Prasanna, and Sunil. G.V. Prakash composes the music, with cinematography by Abinandhan Ramanujam and editing by Vijay Velukutty. The action sequences are choreographed by Supreme Sundar and Kaloian Vodenicharov.
Originally aimed for a Pongal 2025 release, the film is now set to hit screens worldwide on April 10, 2025.
